Your Favorite JS Library?

So what framework you think is best, or should it depend on the type of project? Also is it a good idea to rely on this semi "third party" service for a big part of your website, or start from scatch to use your own? I'd like to know what your opinions are on this.
(By the way, why do the forums lowercase the "script" in Javascript?)

Definitely jQuery.
Hey I still think MooTools is a great framework, especially if you already know Javascript. jQuery is just more popular and makes it easier to manipulate the DOM.

During the time you said that, you actually preferred MooTools over jQuery and I was trying to convince you that jQuery was better.
This was one of the few times I went on the IRC, so yeah.

I obviously knew there was no such thing as cowtools...
I'm not saying jQuery is better, it's different and arguably a lot easier to learn.

And jQuery is great. To prove my point head on over to the jQuery website and you'll see what I mean.
