Hello,

I am planning to move my WordPress blog to Tyreus servers but I would like to confirm one doubt. Whether the Tyreus servers ask for "Connection information" dialog box whenever I install or update a plug-in within WordPress? A sample of this WordPress nag screen is below.

I learned that this highly irritating screen will not be displayed if the scripts which need to write to the file system are owned by the same user that Apache is running as. What about this at Tyreus servers??

Hello Craig, thank you for your response. This is a recently identified but not well documented issue with some web hosts. As your WP installation here is free from this issue, I can assume that tyreus is free from it. If you are interested in learning more about this issue, please visit the following pages.

If you're asking does Tyreus work with the WordPress auto-install/upgrade then the answer is yes. ^_^

Yes, Tyreus is great for WordPress hosting. There is no "Connection information" issue and my initial query is solved as I am successfully hosting my WordPress here.

Automatic updating for plugins and WordPress Core needs your FTP details.
